Charles Eli Kembo

A serial killer in to home.

In the early 2000s, Vancouver was haunted by the crimes of Charles Kembo, a convicted fraudster who turned out to be a calculating serial killer. Between 2002 and 2005, Kembo murdered four people close to him, including his wife, mistress, best friend, and stepdaughter, each killing motivated by financial gain and a desire to silence those who knew too much. His pattern of manipulation and brutality was uncovered after the dismembered remains of his stepdaughter were discovered, leading investigators to connect the other murders. Convicted in 2010 and sentenced to life in prison, Kembo’s case revealed a chilling portrait of greed, betrayal, and a man willing to eliminate anyone who threatened his double life.
