MK Ultra
Mind Control at Ravenscrag. MK Ultra in Canada.
Case Synopsis
In Montreal, a group of psychiatric patients unknowingly became subjects in a secret mind-control program funded by the CIA and conducted under the direction of Dr. Ewen Cameron at the Allan Memorial Institute. The experiments sought to erase and rebuild human thought through a mix of high-dose electroshock therapy, sensory deprivation, drug-induced comas, and repeated audio messages. Many patients entered the hospital for minor mental health issues but left permanently damaged, stripped of memories, and unable to rebuild their lives. The exposure of these experiments revealed a chilling intersection of science, power, and human suffering in the name of control.
