Synopsis

Beginning in 2007, a strange and macabre mystery emerged along the shores of the Salish Sea in British Columbia and Washington State: dismembered human feet, often still inside running shoes, began washing ashore. Over the years, more than 20 such feet have been discovered, sparking widespread speculation about foul play, natural disasters, or even serial killers. However, forensic investigations have largely attributed the phenomenon to natural causes—most of the feet belonged to individuals who died by suicide or accident, and modern sneaker design helped the feet detach and float, eventually reaching shore. Despite many being identified, the eerie trend has left lingering curiosity and urban legend in its wake.
