On July 24, 2015, RCMP were called to 192 Pleasant Grove Road outside Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, after reports of a domestic dispute involving Joel Lawrence Clow, 46, and his long-on-off girlfriend, Traci Lynn Lynch, 40, mother of one. Lynch was found deceased on Clow’s property; prior history of incident reports between the two shaped the investigation. In 2017, Clow was convicted of manslaughter in her death and sentenced to 12 years. His appeal was dismissed in 2024, leaving the case as a stark example of domestic violence escalating to fatal consequence.
